Computer is an electronic things which is very useful. I like my computer very much better than my other things.

Since I was a child, I liked playing game. The games in computer are very interesting and now the graphic of the game is very good. I like to install new games in my computer. There are a lot of games inside my computer, such as Dota, Counter Strike, The Sims 3, call of duty and many more. But games that I like very much are call of Duty. This game is about a war when a world war began in the world. The graphic of this game is good, looks like a reality war. So we can feel like in the war. Sometimes, I play other games like Dota if I am bored to play call of duty.

Besides for playing game, computer has many advantages. Computer can be used for typing your assignment with Microsoft Word, making a presentation with Microsoft Power Point, making a video with Video Maker. I like music very much in my computer there are a lot of musics because the memory of my computer is big. So I can save a lot of musics in there. We can watch video too with computer. With windows Media Player, DVD Player, FLV, and many more program which we can use to watch the video. But in my computer, I don’t have a DVD ROM, I just have a CD-ROM. My computer is old so sometimes it works slowly.

That’s all about my computer. Even though my computer works slowly, but I like my computer. Because my computer is very useful and many interesting musics, videos, and games in there. So I will keep my computer.

In the third paragraph, the main idea can be found in the first sentence. The next sentences elaborate the main idea of the paragraph, but the last supporting idea is out of the idea. It does not explain the advantages of having computer, but it tends to explain how the computer works.

3. That’s all about my computer. Even though my computer works slowly, but I like my computer. Because my computer is very useful and many interesting musics, videos, and games in there. So I will keep my computer. (Fourth paragraph)

It is such a conclusion with some details included. The student describes how important and useful it is for the life.

2. Language Features

a. The Use of Simple Present Tense

The sentence construction of this descriptive composition uses specific tense which is simple present tense. Here are the examples:

- Computer is an electronic things which is very useful.

- I like my computer very much better than my other things.

- Even though my computer works slowly, but I like my computer.

      Nevertheless, the writer uses past tense in the first body of the descriptive composition.

-  Since I was a child, I liked playing game.

      b.  Word choice of sensory words and figurative language

            There is not any sensory words and figurative language can be found in this descriptive composition.
