My watch

 

 

            My watch is very important and useful to me. I always see the time on my watch. I need this watch to help me to do something / to do my next activity. I like this watch because it is easy to bring and wear. Everytime when I like to know the time my watch always show the time.

            When I take a look at my watch I think my watch looks like my clock at my home. This watch have a round shape and it is unique to me. I can set my watch easily. My watch is supported by two small batteries.watch runs slowly and calm because my watch doesn’t sound. There are three hands of clock which always move together. These hands of clock show the minute, hour and second.

            My watch is easy to bring because it is small and it is not heavy. This watch can be kept in the bag. I can bring this watch everywhere and everytime.


            My watch is full of black colors. It is colorful watch and belt because the dominant color is black but the clock number is white. The color of my watch is not faded. My watch is very strong because it resist on water.

     Everyone needs a watch to look or to make sure what time it is / what time they can do another activity. My watch is very helpful to me because it can help me to manage the time and to know the time. I always wear and bring it when I go to the campus. I never let my watch get broken because I keep my watch carefully.

Simple introduction can be found in the first paragraph. She writes how important the watch is in general.

In the second paragraph, the student describes the shape and the uniqueness, so there are two ideas. Unfortunately, overall in this paragraph describes about the uniqueness only as seen on the underlined sentences.

 

 

            In the third paragraph, there is one idea that is developed into a paragraph. However, the supporting idea is still limited.

            In the fourth paragraph, the student makes two ideas, the color and the strength of his watch. Each idea is less described clearly.

The first sentence of the conclusion is such an introduction, but he concludes the entire text he made in the next sentences.

a.   The Use ofSimple Present Tense

The sentence construction of this descriptive composition uses specific tense which is simple present tense. Here are the examples:

-          These hands of clock show the minute, hour and second.

-          I always wear and bring it when I go to the campus.

-          I never let my watch get broken because I keep my watch carefully.

     

      b.  Word choice of sensory words and figurative language

      The student uses sensory words in this descriptive composition about the shape, the color, and the sound of it.
